Government ECO4 Grant Scheme
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) scheme is a government program in the United Kingdom designed to promote energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions by providing financial incentives for energy companies to improve the energy efficiency of homes and buildings. The scheme was introduced to help achieve the UK’s energy efficiency and climate change goals.
Under the ECO4 scheme, energy companies are committed to fund and carry out energy efficiency improvements in homes and properties that are considered vulnerable or in need of upgrades, this also applies to rented homes. These improvements could be, installing insulation, replacing inefficient boilers, and upgrading heating systems.
